Front following dismantling ready to strip old finish81 viewsNeck, hardware & electrics removed except earth wire from the control cavity to bridge. This was left in place as wouldn't get in the way and is difficult to thread back through.
Temporary handle fitted by screwing through the handle into the neck socket (ensuring screws long enough to obtain grip, but not long enough to come through body). This makes applying stripper and final finish easier as it provides something to hold and to hang on when drying.tone256Feb 09, 2007
