01/13/12 at 12:33I am Gerry Porter, this baby was mine, mourn the loss even now, 20 years later or so. For your information it was also signed on the pot cover panel by Trevor Wilkinson (roller nut guy) and Seymour Duncan (whose pickups are on it).The reason the springs were so tight was that the bridge floated quite a lot as I didn't ever use the whammy so I made the springs as tight as I could as my playing style was mainly hand resting on saddle and I still have the ones I removed. I am so so happy that it has found a new home with someone who loves it too. As a working musician, I had to sell her and rely on my trusty USA Strat plus as the Eggle was a luxury fourth guitar and sold when seriously hard up. By the way, this guitar was showcased at Glasgow music fair in the 90s and was number 4 of 6 made. The brand new condition of this guitar was a satin, dull oil rubbed top and the neck was oil rubbed also. no laquer anywhere except on the headstock. I will buy her back now if you're selling!
Love her forever otherwise, Gerry Porter
