Yamaha SB5546 viewsMade in 1972, I bought this in 1993 for my son on his 18th birthday. The choice had boiled down to this and a new Squier Precision and I chose this because it felt right. I didn't know at the time what a good buy this was because, although it is not valuable, it is a classic that is a joy to play and has a wonderful mellow sound. When I took it to Martyn Booth for a repair, he was so taken with it he arranged for it to feature in the August 1997 edition of Bassist magazine (now defunct).tone256Oct 29, 2008
