Cheers all. Really pleased with the way it's turned out. The pickups sound great too.

Well..... I think it looks great - it kinda works against that baby blue.

Yep and the white pickups, too- looks excellent, IMO.  ;D

Standard / New scratchplate. May divide opinion

Been messing about with my New York and swapped the Bare Knuckle Warpig and Sinner for some pickups that a very talented friend made for me acouple of years back.
Wanted to change the layout of the controls so rather than drill the original scratchplate, decided to get a new on made up by Jack's Instrument Services.
Went bold with my choice of colour but I like the results although Tiger (the cat) is unimpressed.

I am sure that I am spotting a Wilkinson VS100C locking vibrato, including the locking nut screwed to the back plate.

Item no. 253994525210
Seller: carboncruiser
Listing ends: 29 Nov, 2018 17:49:28
Start price: 550

Description:
Patrick Eggle Berlin Plus (possibly Pro, it's got elements of both!) electric guitar.  22 frets in a SSH pickup configuration.

I have had this gorgeous guitar for 19 years since purchasing from the original owner, but I play far less now (no time!) so will make do with my cheaper guitar.

Body is similar in style to a PRS body, possibly slightly smaller which makes it an ideal weight, and the neck is a delight. AA maple top.

The mahogany neck is topped with  Rosewood 22-fret fretboard.  The Sperzel locking tuners keep things in tune for a VERY long time.  The bridge is I believe a non locking Wilkinson VS100N vibrato unit.  Hiscox hardcase also included (with PEG branded moulding on the outside).

The guitar is in very good condition, not having been gigged, with a very slight chip to the laquer on the top that was actually found and placed back :)  Only noticeable scratch is on the rear electrics cover.

Non-returnable.

Thanks for the reply Matt, appreciated!  Yes, I can imagine some REALLY long lurkers ;-)

What a minefield these guitars at that age are!  Think I'll go with a Plus then, doesn't sound quite as sexy but my word it plays nice nonetheless.  Going to crank it up fingers permitting later on :)  Thanks!!

Item no. 302964421255
Seller: nilsfan1
Listing ends: 26 Nov, 2018 12:33:27
Start price: 750

Description:
1993 Patrick Eggle Berlin Plus in red with maple leaf inlays and gold hardware.

I have owned this guitar for about 15 years, it is in fantastic condition for its age with only a few minor marks and no buckle rash, some wear to the gold on the bridge.

The guitar  has seen very little use over past 3 years hence reluctant sale.

The only fault I know is the pickup selecter switch very occationally does not engage the bridge pickup, dont know if it needs cleaning or relacing but wiggling it always gets it working.

Comes with original hard case and a set of US made .10 Patrick Eggle strings.

Cash on collection prefered, this way you can see, hear and feel how good this guitar is.
I will accept paypal and post (using Hermes) for 25 UK only.

Feel free to contact me for more information or to come and try it out.

It is very green, but there's at least one other person out there who likes a green guitar as I just sold it... didn't really want to but I needed to recoup some guitar expenditure and the PRS Tremonti SE I've advertised wasn't going anywhere in a hurry, so last in first out  :(
