1992 Berlin Standard B 12-92 1327416 viewsOne-piece maple top with virtually no finish. Note that the guitar was originally fitted with Eggle PAF humbuckers and no coiltap. I replaced these with Eggle Kent Armstrongs and added a Yamaha push-push tone pot, wired to provide coiltap. The current owner has the original pups and tone pot.

1992 Berlin Standard B 12-92 1327264 viewsEx- Gadge guitar now owned by Alan Hardiman. I bought it secondhand and the "non-finish" was very scruffy/dirty. Most of the staining was removed with fine wirewool. The guitar is incredibly resonant and a joy to play — the retrofitted KAs don't have the sonic depth of SDs however.

Took me ages to find this!231 viewsThere's also a piece of masking tape bearing the S/No stuck on the rear of the control cavity cover. Gadge
1992 Berlin Standard B 12-92 1327225 viewsThe logo outline remains — the decal was installed on top of the "non-finish" and hence was unprotected. It didn't like being cleaned! :(( Gadge
1992 Berlin Standard B 12-92 1327207 viewsWith there being virtually no finish applied to the wood, the serial number stamping is much clearer than most other Berlins of the period.Gadge
