1988/89 Climaxe92 viewsThis is possibly the guitar sold in March 2005 for £500. It was sold in August 2008 for £1095, but the sale fell through and it was offered again in September for the same price. The seller provides the following:
"Patrick Eggle Climaxe prototype, hand made by Patrick Eggle himself c 1988/89. Two piece flame maple top over one piece honduras mahogany back, three piece neck (classic reverse grain centre section for added stability) also in honduras mahogany. The binding, headstock veneer, trussrod cover and fingerboard are all rosewood. The neck to body join is an example of the quality in this guitar, capped off with a rosewood veneer and hugely superior and more comfortable than the other type (you know who i mean). Because of the honduras mahogany, widely regarded as the finest ever tonewood and long since unavailable, this is both light and resonant and a joy to play for hours on end. Fitted with gold Sperzels, original wilkinson gtb bridge with dual section intonation saddles. Original JB humbuckers (not the later model high output but the earlier warmed up paf design). There are a few small dings and indentations but nothing major."tone256

Common effects board92 viewsBuilt for use with Artisan 15 and Matamp 1224. Replaces previous boards.
T-Rex Chameleon Fuel Tank power supply mounted on bottom to save space. All electric wiring and most signal wires underneath for neatness.
There are 8 units to power. Although the p.s.u. has only 5 outlets, each one provides 300 mA and so can power more than one unit, as follows: 1 (9v neg. centre) - tuner & chorus; 2 (9v neg. centre) - wah & delay; 3 (9v neg. centre) - noise gate & channel switch; 4 (18v neg. centre) - distortion; 5 (9v pos. centre) - receiver. The output from the Boss TU2 tuner will be used to power the indicator lights on the amp switches (voice, gain, reverb) when I use the Matamp.tone256
